Important Disclaimer

Read this carefully. It explains what DalalRadar is, what it isn't, and what you should understand before using any signal we surface.

⚠️ Critical

DalalRadar is NOT a SEBI-registered investment advisor. Nothing on this site constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other sort of advice. All content is for educational and informational purposes only.

1. Not investment advice

DalalRadar is an analytics tool that visualizes publicly available NSE market data. We do NOT:

  • Recommend buying or selling any stock, future, option, or financial instrument
  • Provide price targets, stop losses, or trade entry/exit points
  • Predict market direction or specific stock movements
  • Manage your money or hold your funds at any time
  • Offer portfolio management, advisory, or research analyst services
  • Hold any SEBI registration as an Investment Advisor (IA), Research Analyst (RA), or Portfolio Manager (PM)

2. What we actually do

We aggregate publicly available NSE data (delivery percentages, open interest, turnover, sector movements) and run pattern-detection logic to surface what we believe are interesting institutional behavior signatures. The output is a visualization — not a recommendation.

Whether a pattern is actionable, profitable, or even meaningful depends on:

  • Your trading style and timeframe
  • Your risk tolerance and capital
  • Broader market conditions
  • Your own analysis and judgment
  • Factors completely outside our visibility

3. Past performance ≠ future returns

Any historical examples, case studies, or backtests shown on the Service or in our marketing materials are illustrative only. Past performance is not indicative of future results. A signal that worked last year may not work next year. Patterns that worked in trending markets may fail in choppy ones.

4. F&O trading risks

Trading in futures and options involves substantial risk of loss. According to SEBI's own studies:

  • Approximately 90%+ of individual F&O traders make net losses
  • The average annual loss per loss-making trader is around ₹1.1 lakh
  • Losses can exceed your invested capital due to leverage
  • F&O is unsuitable for most retail investors

If you are not comfortable losing 100% of your trading capital, do not trade F&O.

5. Data accuracy

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure data accuracy:

  • We rely on third-party data feeds from publicly available NSE sources
  • Data may have errors, delays, or omissions
  • Data is typically end-of-day, not real-time
  • We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data

Always verify any data with official NSE sources before making decisions.

6. Signal limitations

Our signal engine is based on statistical patterns and heuristics. It is not magic. Signals can and do fail. Specifically:

  • "BUY" signals can be followed by price drops
  • "SELL" signals can be followed by price rises
  • "Accumulation" patterns can fail to result in rallies
  • The engine has no insight into news, earnings, regulatory changes, or geopolitical events
  • The engine has no insight into your personal financial situation

7. No fiduciary relationship

Use of the Service does not create any fiduciary, advisory, or professional relationship between you and DalalRadar (or its operator Surender Kumar). We are software providers — not your financial advisor, accountant, or fiduciary.

8. Get qualified advice

Before making any investment decision, consult:

  • A SEBI-registered Investment Advisor
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant for tax implications
  • A qualified financial planner for portfolio decisions

You can verify SEBI registration at www.sebi.gov.in.

9. Educational use only

By using DalalRadar, you acknowledge that:

  • You are using it for educational and informational purposes only
  • You take full responsibility for any trading or investment decisions you make
  • You will not hold DalalRadar (or its operator) liable for any losses, missed opportunities, or damages
  • You understand the risks involved in trading F&O

10. Hypothetical results

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have inherent limitations. Unlike actual performance records, simulated results do not represent actual trading and may not account for market impact, liquidity constraints, slippage, or psychological factors. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.

11. Third-party content

The Service may link to third-party websites (NSE, Razorpay, Vercel, etc.). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

12. Acknowledgment

By using DalalRadar, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Disclaimer in full. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.
